Rum Botran Cobre Spiced Rum

Ron Botran is well known for his high-quality Guatemalan rum. He added four botanicals to his dark rum: vanilla, clove, ginger and cardamom. The result is a wonderfully spicy and sweet rum with notes of tropical fruit, spice, oak and molasses. The nose additionally has a noticeable cinnamon, while the finish is dry and slightly woody. Cobre rum is composed of young and old rums aged up to 20 years. The youngest bring to it a spicy character, the oldest, which were aged in Port barrels, a unique character. It is distilled in a copper distillery (hence its name Cobre, which means copper in Spanish), in the presence of the aforementioned spices.
