Yellow Rose Distillery has had its headquarters in Texas since 2010. Yellow Rose Outlaw Bourbon, according to the producers, breaks all the patterns relating to Bourbon. The whiskey was made from 100% organic corn, while the secret production process results in the drink's unique sweet taste. The whiskey was aged in small barrels for an even stronger aromatic and flavor experience. In color, Yellow Rose Outlaw Bourbon is golden and coppery. The nose is intensely punctuated by caramel, vanilla, floral notes, honey and corn. On the palate there are sweet hints of honey, caramel and vanilla, toasted butter, a hint of smoke. The finish is not too long, mild, slightly sweet. Yellow Rose Outlaw Bourbon won double gold at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition and a gold medal and Best in Class at the American Distilling Institute.
