Wine Montecillo Gran Reserva Rioja D.O.C..

Gran Reserva is 100% of the Tempranillo variety. The production process is very time-consuming. First a year of maturation in vats, then 30 to 40 months in oak barrels and finally an additional 3 years in bottle. Only then does Gran Reserva reach the market. In the first contact with this Spanish wine we sense tobacco notes, immediately after a while we get elegant aromas arising from the aging process, with red, ripe fruits also noticeable in the background. Great structure, slender, subtle with perfect balance between all elements. At the same time lots of body and a long, pleasant finish. A Rioja that is impossible not to like.
